There’s just something fun about that phrase.
“I’m up to something.”
Not only is it slightly secretive, but it’s also slightly mischievous—which I think is healthy.
I realized a few years ago how much I really liked being “up to something.”
Not only that, but I also realized that I love finding other people who are “up to things,” too.
Having a mischievous, secret project is fun. It helps us cope with boring tasks that suck our energy. It gives us the permission to have fun but also produce something.
If you’ve never considered being “up to something,” you might want to. The side effects are wonderful.
I love this post, it gave me a naughty grin and immediately made me think: I need to be up to something! Thanks for inspiring me to start thinking about my next secret project 😈
