Okay, I think I have a sense of how to differentiate between Strategic Altruism and Effective Altruism. The way EA is defined on the community website (above) is that it's all about finding the right problems to solve and pulling the right levers to solve them.
I think that SA encompasses EA, but it also demands that the actions taken be sustainable, not singular, and that they are anonymous. I think these fundamentally differentiate SA from EA.
Be honest: does that sounds plausible or like I'm really stretching this idea too hard?
Are you rebranding Effective Altruism? Lol!
Thanks for saying this!
Embarrassingly, I didn't know that Effective Altruism was a thing. I just read a bit about it here: https://www.effectivealtruism.org/
It sounds like I might need to either 1) change my idea or 2) think really hard about how what I had in my mind is inherently different.
Crap. Haha.
