The Daily Drip
It's snowing in Denver, today.
Yeah, I know. It's 35 degrees Fahrenheit and when I went out for a run this morning, it was raining.
I think it's really easy to get caught up in the whole "the conditions are bad so I don't want to do what I planned to do" which I think we can agree is sometimes a good reason to cancel plans--but I've been working on making some changes in my thoughts.
You know what's easier than making yourself do something you don't want to do?
Figure out a way to like it.
I'm serious. I'm now on this kick where I look at these terrible conditions and say "let's go. This is a challenge. This can't stop me. I love dark, cold rain."
Call me crazy but I think it's easier to change your mindset than it is to change only your behavior in situations like these.
I have a feeling this might be a little controversial--and I can't wait to hear what you think!
