We’re all ready to leave 2020 behind.
Undoubtedly, many of us are doing the same thing we always do, going around the carousel again with the whole “I’m gonna start working out” or other resolution.
Consider this the important reminder that while our calendar’s arbitrary new year offers us the opportunity to reset and reflect, it’s not our resolutions that will suddenly make 2021 different from all the other years.
It’s the systems we’ve built that make things happen. Accountability systems, habits, and support networks.
The resolution is sort of like the formalization of our thoughts as if writing them down will increase the chances they’ll come true.
This year, I encourage you to ask yourself: “what will be different?” “Why will it be impossible for me to NOT succeed?”
Start there.
Not at “I want to ____ .”
I know you can do this difficult work.
And we’re all counting on you.
