Yesterday, I posted for the first time in Substack’s “Chat” feature.
Chat is a conversation space in the Substack app that’s set up exclusively for us—kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing, yet—but I see some potential.
One of the mistakes I’ve made in writing Strategic Altruism is how little I reach out to you, the readers, and ask for input on what you think I should be writing more about.
My bad.
I feel like this Chat tool provides a fast, easy way to have conversations about what could be developed into thoughtful posts that directly relate to what you’re interested in or what you need.
To join the Strategic Altruism Chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app, now available for both iOS and Android. Chats are sent via the app, not email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Substack Chat is now available on both iOS and Android.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into the thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
