Why Mondays are great
The Daily Drip
What do you really want to do?
What are you waiting for?
Is it time, money, or a team?
Guess what? Those are the most common . . . um . . . excuses.
Yep, sorry. Had to say it. Those are all excuses.
The trick isn't to NOT have those thoughts. We're all humans and that's how our brains work.
The trick is to have those thoughts and then challenge them with some followup questions:
Why do I need money to start?
Could I do some of this but not all of it?
What would prove the concept?
Can I do it manually at first?
What would I have to give up to make more time?
Most of the time, the friction is in our own heads. If we know and believe this, that's a huge advantage because we know exactly where to start--in our own heads.
Today is Monday and you know I love Mondays.
One thing that's great about Mondays is that you get a brief moment to look back at the week, think about where you failed, and then try again. Clean slate. New start. Forgive yourself for eating too much Turkey and just move onto the next thing.
Happy Monday!
