Do this at any frequency you like--just make it happen
The Daily Drip
When you're in the dark, it's so hard to remember that it's temporary.
When you're in pain, it's hard to imagine what life is like without it.
When you're depressed, your brain makes it harder to have a positive outlook.
This is just one of those caveats of being a human being and a brain owner.
One exercise that helps me in these moments is gratitude.
It's not a silver bullet, but if you build a habit of practicing intentional gratitude, it will be easier to call on it when you need it.
Sounds simple, but most people agree and then don't do anything.
Here's a really simple, 2-minute action you can take to do this.
Set a recurring reminder on your smartphone. That's it. Just set a reminder to ask yourself what you're grateful for today, or this week, or this month.
It can be any frequency you like.
Just make it happen.
