How we can choose to re-center our focus

The Daily Drip
One of my favorite illustrations of a "bad day" is a comic strip from Bill Waterson's Calvin and Hobbes.
At the end, Calvin basically laments about his lack of control over the world around him. His imaginary friend and stuffed tiger Hobbes reminds him that he can rest easy knowing that even though he experienced a terrible day, Calvin did everything he could.
I love this strip because it's such a clear reminder of what we can choose to recenter our focus on.
On mornings like this one, where I feel the slump, this comic strip reminds me to recenter and focus.
I hope it resonates with you, too.
