[TOOL] Does your web browser spy on you and sell your info?
The Daily Drip
I used Google Chrome as my default web browser for ages.
It was fastest, had the most plugins, and was an ace for search.
Over the years, it's gotten more and more resource hungry--but not becuase it's improved in horsepower.
I'll have to double check the math/statistic here, but it's something like 50% of Google Chrome's activity is around running ad surveillance in the background. It's more like the tax you pay for having Google Chrome on your machine.
So, a few months ago, I switched to Brave. Brave is built on the same platform as Google Chrome, which means it looks similar and it is compatable with all your existing extensions, but it has some of the best privacy settings out there.
Check them out: Brave.
Recently, I got an email from the development team at Sidekick. They're another browser like Brave. They have better search and more functionality. I haven't spent a lot of time looking into their security features, but they look decent.
Anyway, they sent the Relentless Community (that's us) a download link to skip the line of folks who have requested early access.

I don't get anything (money, points, vanity, nothing) if you download with this link or at all--this is just an opportunity to share more resources with the community.
Can't wait to hear your thoughts.
