Rolling in the grass
The Daily Drip
When I was a kid, a friend introduced me to Calvin and Hobbes.
Calvin and Hobbes was a comic strip beloved by many, telling the adventures of a 6-year-old boy and his stuffed tiger.
Aside from the hilarity and dopamine hits, the comic strip provided beautiful little nuggets of wisdom.
Here's one I'd love to share with you.
To me, this one is just asking what life is all about. It's not about thinking big (which, here, is articulated as thinking about what other people want).
It's not even about fantasizing about the future, though that's the vehicle for the conversation.
It's about knowing what truly makes you happy, the day-to-day little things.
Isn't that what life is anyway? Just a series of days?
I hope this sets a great mood for your Sunday.
