Disarming excuses
The Daily Drip
One of my biggest weaknesses is seeing rules and constraints where they don't exist.
I'm too young. I'm too old. I don't have the right team. I don't have any time. I don't have enough money. I don't have the right environment. I'm too fat. I'm too skinny. It's not good timing. It's too good to be true.
Etc. etc.
In fact, I made some wall art about this.
It's a whole list of excuses, but they're all crossed out.
You'll never have enough time. You'll never have enough money. You'll never have the right conditions.
So, you can't let that stop you.
Instead, we have to do the difficult work of figuring out what we can do with what we have.
The rest is just a noisy distraction.
There is no spoon.
