The voice that tempts you
The Daily Drip
Today was one of those days.
I woke up and I didn't want to get up, exercise, and start my day.
I didn't mean to, but my brain started making excuses.
My brain started putting some temptation in front of me.
"You know, you could just take today off and rest."
We've all had these thoughts because we all have brains.
At least, I hope so.
Here are some tools/ideas that might be useful in your fight against that voice in your head that tempts you.
1. Find an accountabilibuddy who will go through the same experience by your side.
2. Write a check for $1000 to a trusted friend and tell them they can cash it if you don't meet your goal.
3. Make the goal smaller or more achievable.
Usually, getting close is better than not starting.
Usually, we just need some momentum to get moving.
Usually, we perform better when someone else is watching.
