Choose your weapon
The Daily Drip
How do you solve a problem like systemic change?
There's no 4 step process.
You won't see the 5 R's or the 6 T's or the 3 P's.
And even methods like empathy aren't always effective.
I'd love for someone to challenge me here:
The most effective solution is representation.
When you have lots of different perspectives that are heard equally, you can see with more context.
You end up with more information with which to make a decision as a group.
The solutions that will be most effective, in the end, will be the integration of the political system.
In the long run, the most effective preventative solution will be accessible education.
If we believe in a meritocracy (the idea that if you work hard enough and you're good enough, you'll be successful), which many Americans do, then we'll need to level the playing field.
In the end, I'd like to ask you to "choose your weapon."
Maybe you want to protest.
But maybe you want to help people with medicine.
Maybe you want to help people learn in school.
Maybe you want to help revise the laws of the country.
Maybe you want to protect people from threats.
I'm asking you to look inside yourself and see where you can be most effective.
How can you use your skills, talents, and experiences to best serve the world?
