All of this is noise and it doesn’t matter.
Do you know what matters?
Focus.
Commitment.
Accountability.
Discipline.
Mission.
No more apps. No more hacks. No more tips and tricks.
No more anything until you master those last 5 lines above.
It was just Valentine’s Day, right?
A day where we praise commitment with gratitude. How about your commitment to yourself? It will be much harder to commit to anyone else if you can’t master this inside yourself first.
2 Minute Action
In 2 minutes, you could meditate and practice focus.
In 2 minutes, you could practice your commitment to yourself (drawing, playing an instrument, writing, etc.)
In 2 minutes, you could tell a friend about your workout plan so they won’t let you off the hook.
In 2 minutes, you could do just one thing you dislike doing.
In 2 minutes, you could write out your personal mission statement.
I just came up with these on-the-fly. You can steal one of these actions or come up with your own.
Either way, it’s critical that you start, even if you start small.
